I wanted to write a Christmas song and then i heard about my friend in Nepal who is trying to build a house for a family who lost everything in the reecent earthquake. They live in a tin shack with no running water or any amenities at present. The 14 year old daughter is a wonderful intelligent girl who simply wants the best for her family and I feel she deserves the things we take for granted everyday.

When you ask most 14 year olds what they want for Christmas, they may reply "an ipad" or "iphone" or who knows what. Ashima will say "I would love to have somewhere to live where i can be safe and warm" .

So i have priced the song at £1 and in everybody i know and hopefully more can download it, you will be helping a young girl and family achieve their dreams this Christmas. I have put more details of the website my friend Kiran has set up which has more details and ways to provide if you would like to help even more, but any little counts so just by downloading this song you are helping massively towards making someone else's life happy this Christmas.
