Ok this song is a completely improvised in one take words and music creation done on koh phayam. I have kept it as close to the original as possbile. the only addition from the original improvisation is one harmony line. Here is what i wrote at the time

"Ok so I was having dinner at my bungalow place and finished my pad Thai before the rest and could hear the sea in the background and thought i’d Try something new
So I excused myself ( how rude ) and dashed to get my mates guitar with the intention of just sitting on my own o the beach in the dark and press record to see what comes out" .

I hope it reflects the literal place i was in as well as some other inner musings at the time

When the moon had all its light
All the flags with colours bright

The lights that flicker across the sea
Who’s playing over there ?
Well its not me
It’s job2do , he plays all the time
And sings the songs of the island

The sea is ruffling crabs houses above the sand
They can feel , a touch inside
Of every man or woman walking
In over sized 9’s

To find what you and I can see in the isle
This old sceptic isle
That has the power to release
Everything within me
