Welcome to Gaza
04:37
|

Did you ever see the day
Your house demolished when you went away
Did you ever hurt inside
Seeing children running anywhere to hide
Did you ever feel that shame
See that man screaming in pain
Did you ever have that in your life
Should you ever have that in your sight
Why don’t you come and see
An ice cold family lying next to me
Do they know, what they feel
About the hunters bearing down with youthful zeal
Did you ever feel the pain
Of losing a family name?
The jewish pain, its all the same
Bring your guns bring your bombs
Watch us fight
Bring your guns bring your bombs
Watch us die
Ooo I hear the children say
Aren’t we all on earth the same
Breathing in and out all day
If we choose to divide
Human lives with disparate lines
Are we back where we were
In 1939??
Have you seen what I’ve seen, can’t we dream
Of an end

A new dawn
03:51
|
|||
Look out with gentle eyes
body weak there's no disguise
The sun is burning brilliant gold
Sweats on the brow, feeling cold
The fingers stroke around the skin
as the sea kisses the sand
the light burst rolls around the cliffs
the gentle movements of the hands
nature alive in all its forms
lets human life in for a new dawn
when the sun rises above the dune
where the whistling wind plays a tune
where the deep blue sea brushes the sand
my heart is there holding your hand
where the dark sky shadows the ground
where the deathly silence reigns unabound
where the rain cuts like tiny knives
As fingers stroke around the skin
as the sea kisses the sand
the light burst rolls around the cliffs
the gentle movements of the hands
nature alive in all its forms
lets human life in for a new dawn
When the heart and soul is run aground
when the clouds drift by without no sounds
feel your golden essence breaking free
there's a place you live within me
Nature alive in all its form
lets human life in for a new dawn

Is our world ok?
04:54
|
|||
There is a darkened scene
Woken from your dream
flashing lights and screams are all around
You feel like you won't live
Is this really it?
Have words expired when like minds bomb your home?
But its ok cos there's daylight
just another infight
waking in my mind
ther streets still echo to the hum of morning life
i'll face inner struggles and feel into my song
Go to sleep tomorrow, Is my world Ok?
Verse 2
Another darkened scene
Now this can't be a dream
flashing lights and screams are in my house
Chorus 2
And now there is no daylight
the overwhelming fear makes senses stand alert
The streets now echo to the sound of tanks and guns
Can i face this outer battle
Now i'm on my own
I can feel whats going on but is our world ok?
Bridge
The art of words dissolved have clearly now made way
what can we teach our kids, if all is resolved this way?
Chorus 3
So i'm looking down from heaven's ground
to see what's down below
A spinning ball of life perched on the precipise
maybe one day they'll learn what they've always known
connect together and you'll all see earth,
As home
its our only home
don't go wrong
be as one
feel my bones

Yugoslavia
04:39
|
|||
They ask me why I keep singing
about young women, tousled trees…
they ask why I’m clinging
to curved hills and a blue sea
They ask how could I be dreaming
of another promised land...?!!
with streets and squares teeming
with a language that I understand…
They shake their heads, tell me to wake up
from this dream, accessories…
as if that’s easy, as if I could ever break up
with those memories…
(Chorus)
I still see the same stars… flying,
the same moon, so far…
I hear their smiles and children crying,
Yugoslavia… it is in my heart…
They ask me why I feel sorry
for something that can’t be retrieved…
what’s the use of stories?
it’s another life they live…
But in me, there are those mountains,
rusty gates, that southern sun,
grandmas and clear fountains,
wide lakes, a “whiskey” made of plums…
They wonder why I think of gone springs,
islands, roads, warm winds and woods…
but how could I expect them to understand something
they’ve never understood…?
(Chorus )
I still see the same stars… flying,
the same moon, so far…
I hear their smiles and children crying,
Yugoslavia… it is in my heart…
Daily routine tried to squash out
the last remnants, but we are who we are…
how could you think those tears could ever wash out
Yugoslavia… Yugoslavia from my heart…?

Universal light
03:20
|
|||
As i rose from my slumber
my head full of wonder
the emptiness in the bed
was small
A heart that fills
that gaping hole
with a vision of love
so unique
And life's holes continue to fill with bliss
something not many have found
only us will see its so profound
so when life finally bids farewell
only those hearts can tell
of a place souls visited
where magic connects
without an ounce of pain or regret
Being brave with a path so true
has brough inner light and purpose within you
so sleep and dream my precious love
of times alone on the wings of a dove
accepting pain and hurt
with all the lies of worth
we'll be all we need in life
through the power of what is
the power of what is
through the power of what is
in our universal light
