about

Most people ask "how are you" or "how are you doing" and as very polite english people we mostly reply with "oh i'm fine" and then continue on a diatribe of nonsense about the dog, the weather or some other nonsense gossip. How would we react it someone said " well actually i'm feeling quite low inside and lonely as i haven't spent much time with people recently" . It would be out of our comfort zone and therefore quite scare. We like out boxes to fit perfectly. However, all the anxiety and stress experienced by so many could be alleviated by learning how to talk openly an honestly with each other.
It seems obvious but we are all often too polite and don't want to upset the boxed way of life or upset the person asking. However, imagine if being open was taught in schools, how much better our society would be. Young people need to hear it is normal to feel all sorts of emotions instead of trying to live up to a stereotype of a human which is impossible to achieve

lyrics

VERSES
Don't let me die
Ask the question
Stop wondering why
the lack of direction
My bleeding heart is on display
As i sing this little song aloud to you

I was alone
found out somethings
of who I am
Despite others misgivings
So no i need some time aligned
Can the ego stand, when life provides a helping hand
Yes we all can stand and be true when facing satan's hand

Its you, so you scream
Its me, sit within and don't let me be

CHORUS
ahhhooooo
Come on down
from that cloud
Look in my direction
I know, you know
You know, i know
Its lonely
can be so lonely
Here on the ground
