about

I found this lockdown particularly rough, being so disconnected at a time of year i am usually more connected to like minded beautiful souls than ever out in Thailand, So writing music helped me recover from all sorts of mental exhaustion, so i guess i tried to express that a bit in the lyrics, going from darkness to light as it were as the song progresses (a common me theme ;-)

lyrics

In a dark hole,
can you see me stare
Do you realise i've settled there,
How come in a world that shares
Can I have arrived at this place
The doors are there
There's many paths to walk on now
but i will keep on falling down
You cannot keep on resting now

So show me some light
It shines so bright for you so go
Far from home
so i won't watch you suffer

Are you doing it now
Are you doing it now
repeating the same steps
Take the path to escape
or the mind will be raped
by that incessant maze
from the past
It can't last

So there is a light
it shines so bright
for you so go
here is home
where we don't have to suffer
Come and touch the life discovered
