Stuck at the airport for 15 long hours
Nothing to look at but rancid green towers
everyone looks at me thinking how strange
as I strum my guitar on some green in the haze
Not just playing one chord, here's two and now 3
driving the family insane next to me
I can't stop this repetitive pattern of this day
cos my plane hasn't landed its so far away

Oh we'll never get out of here just accept that as fact
i'll make airport communities just by humming my tat

So the hours have flown by i'm at the check in
but my luggage is to heavy oh lord what to bin?

A voice cries "No bin that guitar and save us from those notes!"
at on the plane i still have my guitar
the lady is bored knowing we're going far
She says "oh play as a tune to make all of us smile"
"Sorry but Frannick's only played for the worthwhile
not those without smiles"
So we're finally out of here, bump bump bang we're away
and me and my guitar live to fight another day
