INDIE MELODIC
For me the most important song on this album. I wrote it at the end of travels in june 2017 . I thought i was writing about my travels and then i realised i was writing about everyone. All the people we revere in our very small western world , be they actors, musicians, tv stars. Do we really know them? We find ourselves loving them for their art which is fine, but who were they as people? We can only ever find that out by having a one on one with them. That goes for everyone of us.We see people on Facebook apparently having the best life ever. But do we really know how they are feeling? OF course not. So this is always a reason to live your own life and not be dragged into a life that isn't yours, or jealous of one you don't have , or even annoyed at your own. It is what it is but only you have the choice to change that.
Living in my old community i assumed that was it. I never thought i would meet people who would make my heart sing, or who would open my eyes to something different and beautiful.
The funny thing is when you get back from travelling , you realise, despite all the beautiful hearts and souls who have made you come to that realisation, that all of that is within you.
You don't have to travel to the four corners of the world to find it. You just need to be prepared to stop and look at yourself and see what you can bring to others around you wherever you are.
It may be the smallest of things, but to someone, it will mean the most. It could be a thank you. it could not fearing what others think and telling someone how beautiful they are inside. Either way this can be done anywhere and despite all of these distractions we have in our lives, and it is getting harder with more and more social media, we can always step back and look upon ourselves for that, because often nobody else will tell you, until you realise it within yourself.
